OptiWorks Receives USPTO Grant On VOA Patent

based OptiWorks Inc. announced today that the United States Patent and
Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted its patent for an innovative Variable
Optical Attenuator (VOA).
Variable Optical Attenuators are used widely in fiber optic communication systems to condition signals at local transmission points.
OptiWorks' VOA allows network architects the capability to precisely tune the performance of their present and future networks. Top-tier OEM customers have already designed in OptiWorks' VOA in both discrete and integrated forms.
