OptiWorks Independently Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Registration

OptiWorks Inc., a worldwide leading supplier of innovative fiber-optic components and modules for advanced optical networks, announced that it has successfully achieved ISO 9001:2000 recognition and registration by renowned Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. This registration is an upgrade from the previous registration on ISO 9001:1994 in conjunction with its parent company, BizLink Technology (www.bizlinktech.com).

ISO 9001:2000 is the latest version of the internationally recognized Quality Management Standard ISO 9001, the current standards for quality assurance and conformance to specified requirements in design, development, and production.  Merging ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003 into a single standard, ISO 9001:2000 measures eight quality management principles: Customer focused organization, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, systems approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
